Get involved
Your voice matters. Participation and lived experience are vital in shaping the support available for kinship families. By getting involved, you can share your unique insights, connect with others, and help build a stronger, more supportive community for kinship carers and the children they care for.
Join a Community Cluster Group
Our community cluster groups are safe, welcoming spaces where kinship carers can:
- Share experiences and advice
- Offer and receive emotional support
- Exchange practical tips and resources
- Build lasting connections with others in similar situations
Whether you're looking for guidance or simply want to meet others who understand your journey, these groups are here for you.
Other ways to participate
There are many ways to get involved and make a difference:
- support other kinship carers by sharing your experience and offering encouragement, either informally or as a mentor
- help plan or volunteer at local events that celebrate and support kinship families.
- join in with days out, workshops, and creative sessions designed for carers and children.
- take part in shaping future services by sharing your views and ideas.
Your time and voice can have a real impact.

We host a variety of events throughout the year, including:

These events are a great way to meet others, learn more about kinship care, and enjoy time together as a family.
